WELCOME
Welcome to the Trial Australian Bushfire Research Dissemination web site.
This site is dedicated to providing training and awareness material to Australian bushfire fighters.
It is intended to dynamically bridge the gap between the constantly expanding wisdom learned from scientific studies of fire weather and fire behaviour and the formally adopted training curricula.
This project is a collaboroation between:
- The HighFire Risk Project.
- ACT Emergency Services Agency Training.
- AFAC.
- Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre.
- NSW Rural fire Service.
- Fire & Rescue NSW
- NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service.
This website is dedicated to bringing forward the latest research findings. They are provided to
allow firefighters to be made aware of critical safety issues ahead of the material being included in
the national training curriculum.
