Operational Awareness for Advanced Firefighters & Fire Behaviour Analysts
On flat terrain, elliptical, wind-driven fires are the norm, and fire crews are skilled at methods of containing these fires. A pinching of the headfire from an anchor point near the point of origin is typical. Strategies and tactics can be successfully managed in the field.
